Second time staying here with my kids and I just love the location. It's central to so much. We are currently here, checked in late Sunday, and the woman checking us in was very friendly. The pools are comfortable, the atmosphere is fun and plenty of room around the pools. The Snazzy rooms are spacious and house keeping were so attentive and friendly, the room was well stocked. This is a great location for exploring San Diego!

Resort was clean and had a charm when you first came. You can tell it is old by the elevators and rooms. Once you are on the grounds all food and snack prices are greatly increased. They charge so many fees and take advantage of their guests and their wallets in any way they can. Would not stay here again. We stayed here for a dance convention and paid a large sum. Not worth it

I honestly don’t know how this hotel has the ratings it does. My experience at the Town & Country San Diego was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When I arrived, there were well over 150 people standing in line just to check in. It was complete chaos and set the tone for the entire stay. Once I finally got to my room, it was unbelievably noisy. The walls and floor were vibrating so much that it honestly felt like I was in the middle of an earthquake. Between the constant noise and the nonstop screaming from what seemed like hundreds of kids at the pool, there wasn’t a moment of peace. Forget relaxing—you couldn’t even close your eyes for five seconds. I stayed in the room for about an hour, and almost all of that time was spent on the phone trying to get permission to leave and receive a refund because the property was completely uninhabitable for anyone looking for a quiet hotel stay. Despite checking out after only about an hour, they still charged me for the full night, plus parking and resort fees. My family and I recently stayed at this hotel while celebrating my son’s high school graduation, and we had a wonderful experience. The room exceeded our expectations—it was spacious, well-designed, and very comfortable. The customer service staff was excellent throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the private patio outside our room with its own fire pit, which made our time together even more memorable. A special thank you to Deion Stratton, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to my family, and his exceptional service truly enhanced our vacation. We had an amazing experience and will definitely be returning this summer!
