We had a very good stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Huntington Beach. The room was comfortable, clean, and worked well for our family. We also appreciated the free parking and complimentary breakfast, which made the stay more convenient and helped us save some money during our trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for getting around Orange County, including Huntington Beach and Disneyland. Overall, we were happy with our stay and felt it was a good value for the price. We would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip. God bless all

Don’t stay here. Our first room had an extremely strong smoke smell, despite the hotel advertising smoke-free rooms. We complained and were moved to a second room, only to find that the air conditioning was not working. When we brought this to the hotel’s attention, we were told there was nothing they could do and that we would have to wait until a technician could come in the morning. I was traveling with my 1-year-old child and my pregnant wife, so staying overnight in a room without functioning AC was not a reasonable option. We ended up having to leave and pay for another hotel. Despite being unable to provide us with a smoke-free room with functioning air conditioning—both of which were represented in the booking—the hotel refused to give us a refund. We gave them an opportunity to fix the situation, accepted a room change, and the replacement room had another major issue. We weren’t leaving because we changed our minds; we left because the hotel could not provide the room and amenities we paid for. Extremely disappointing experience and customer service. I would not recommend staying here. The carpet in our room felt almost moist and was extremely dirty and stained. It looked like it desperately needed a deep cleaning or to be completely replaced. The carpet around the bathroom was especially damaged and frayed. One of the pillows also had a noticeable stain on it, which made us question the cleanliness of the room. The worst part was that my 3-year-old found dirty Q-tips and the instruction booklet from a previous guest’s sex toy tucked in the bed. That is completely unacceptable and shows the room was not properly cleaned before our arrival. To top it off, while eating breakfast we saw a mouse. The hotel should seriously consider addressing its pest control issues. The overall atmosphere wasn’t welcoming either. The staff seemed unhappy to be there. When I went to the front desk to request an additional item for our room, the first thing I was asked was, “Checking out?” instead of how they could help. It left us feeling like guests were more of an inconvenience than a priority. The only positive was the hotel’s location, which was convenient. Old, half the lights were out. The ac smelled awful and made us all sneeze when it was turned on so ended up sleeping in a super hot room because we turned it off. The room was clean but felt old and stuffy. Worst part was the other guests though. It was LOUD. We couldn’t even hear our tv bc there were kids running past our door until after midnight, and adults playing music and talking loudly. The front desk lady tried to make them be quiet but they were kind of aggressive with her. I’m not sure why the cops weren’t called to remove them from the hotel or if any threats to kick them out were made. Basically after they told her they wouldn’t be quiet, she gave up. Which led back to why we couldn’t even open the windows during the night for colder air, because of the noise and concern about aggressive guests. Don’t stay here if you’re looking for somewhere relaxing and comfortable to stay. This basically gave us a place to “sleep”, but besides that it was not enjoyable. We’ll be contacting corporate for some type of refund for our rooms because truthfully, it wasn’t even cheap to stay here.
