Yoav is a phenomenal instructor. I had played tennis for years as a youth but never as an adult. I recently started playing again and I wanted to find a coach who could help me rebuild my mechanics and footwork as I knew I had poor fundamentals. I've been working with Yoav for a several months and it's been a true pleasure. I really appreciate that he records the sessions for both real-time video review during the lesson and analysis afterwards. I've found it to be extremely helpful to reinforce proper technique and visualize where I was making mistakes. While Yoav is really focused on progression and development, he also has a great attitude and it's always a fun time on the court. It is obvious he is truly passionate about his craft and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an instructor.

I have been taking tennis classes with Yoav for about 5 months. He is the best! I was surprised how hard it is to find a good tennis coach in SF. I’m glad I hired Yoav. He is very experienced, always cheering and very easy to work with. I really love how he helps take videos of me playing and analysis the video to help me improve. Highly recommend!!

Yoav is the best tennis coach I have ever had. He offers really in depth technical instruction for ground strokes, volleys, and serving that I have never received from anyone else. He provides a really clear framework for what competitive tennis is about, from physical/technical aspects, like fitness/strength and how to get more power, to the tactical and mental aspects of the game. As his student I have progressed so much faster and so much more than with any other coach. I love working with Yoav, and I highly recommend him for anyone looking to improve in tennis.

After trying several tennis coaches to find to help my son develop his tennis game and pursue his competitive aspirations, we finally found Yoav. Yoav is the absolute BEST call we’ve ever made. We started working with Yoav in September 2019. His many years of experience were immediately apparent. After one lesson he was able to break down my son’s movement and ground strokes and develop a plan of action. After just 6 weeks he completely changed how my son hits the ball. After working with him for 22 months, not only has Yoav helped develop the technical aspects of my son’s game, but has also prepared him for the mental part of competitive matchplay as well. Yoav and his coaching continue to raise the level of my son’s game! Absolutely a 5/5 star recommendation!!!

Yoav is the real deal. He's a true educator, who teaches in a very intentional and structured way.  He understands the game deeply, continuously studying it and upgrading his methods. After just a few lessons, my husband and I are seeing a huge improvement in the overall quality of our play. I think I've progressed more in 5 weeks than in the past 5 years! The lessons are intense and challenging, but really fun too. Yoav knows how to bring the best out of us when we're on the court with him, and helps us to recapture that energy by sending detailed notes and videos between lessons. Obviously, I highly recommend him!
