The JW Marriott in Brickell is absolutely beautiful! The lobby is stunning, and every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and willing to go above and beyond to help. Sadly, I didn’t get anyone’s name, but everyone we interacted with made us feel very welcome. We stayed in a suite on the 20th floor. While the hotel itself is beautiful, I do feel the room could use some updating, especially for a JW Marriott. The carpet looked very dated, the sink faucets were tarnished, and the bedroom door would get stuck so badly that you almost felt like you were locked in—you really had to pull with all your might to get it open. There were definitely some great things about the room, though! The bed was super comfortable, and while the balcony itself was pretty plain, the views were AMAZING both during the day and at night. There was even a TV built into the bathroom mirror. It was a little hard to see, but still such a neat feature! The location is another huge plus. You’re in a prime location in Brickell and can walk to the Civic Center, and having a trolley stop right next to the hotel made getting around even easier. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The l

Cleaning Service was top notch. We had service twice a day and in the evening they gave us miniature chocolates on our pillow. As titanium members, we had access to the lounge which had a buffet breakfast and evening appetizers. Since parking is a premium, we opted for a parking package. The hotel is in the financial district, which is great for walking around downtown. The Wi-Fi is a bit sluggish, which made accessing Netflix cumbersome. We were upgraded to a corner suite which had a city skyscraper view. The room was nice with a few exceptions. There is an apparent leak in the floor that makes the carpet damp near the air conditioning unit. This seems to be an ongoing issue as the carpet is pulled away from the edges. The mini bar is full of extra high priced items, but they don’t want you putting your personal food in there. They gave us a separate refrigerator to store our personal items. The coffee machine was great and it was nice to have a coffee in the room. Overall, service is great.

A quick note on my recent stay at JW Marriott Miami on Brickell Avenue. I have stayed at this property several times, and this visit was noticeably different — in a very positive way. The biggest difference was the staff. Alexis at the front desk was exceptional: gracious, professional, and genuinely helpful. I arrived early, and he handled everything extremely well — assisted while I waited, facilitated breakfast, supported access to the business center, and ultimately arranged a very good room. His manner set the tone for the stay. I also met Keisha, one of the property managers, who was equally charming and added positively to the overall experience. The staff in both restaurants were also very good — friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. The location remains excellent, the property is strong, but this time the service stood out. I heard negative comments in the past from business colleagues about this hotel, which is why the experience was noticeable to me. Whatever management is doing, it is showing. This was one of my best stays here, and the management and team deserves credit.
