This park has become a daily homeless gathering area instead of a clean and welcoming public space for the community. Trash is frequently left around the property, common areas are constantly occupied for long periods of time, and the overall condition of the park continues to decline. Areas where people regularly congregate often smell strongly of urine, which makes parts of the park unpleasant to walk through and reflects how poorly the property is being maintained. What makes this worse is the complete lack of response from the city. These problems have clearly been ongoing for a long time, yet little to nothing appears to be done to maintain the park properly or enforce basic standards. Families and residents should be able to use a public park without dealing with ongoing sanitation issues, loitering, and an atmosphere of neglect. The city should be embarrassed by the condition this park has been allowed to fall into.

The playground is just a bunch of climbing structures and swings. Not good for toddlers. The playground seems pretty old too, it is very faded. Not shaded so it gets really hot. The park is pretty clean though and has a volleyball and basketball court!
