I'm wondering is there a phase 2 toward improving this park? I noticed the city planted small trees no one will enjoy without walking trails to keep us and our pets safe from the thorns that thrive here. I read however in yet another article that someone was suggesting that adults should leave their children in the playground area of Dennis the menace park and go workout in the cement "gym" the city built next to this park. Hmmm, predators come in all races, ages and genders, parents I know would never leave their children alone anywhere. hopefully, ulmer park with a little vision and creativity can become a haven for families and pets, walking, biking, benches under trees, so much potential. Oh, by the way, there's no tennis courts here, despite the claim.

Love this facility! Rick knows how to put on a Tournament. Always clean. Concessions fully stocked. Love playing at Mugs.

VERY clean park!!!! A great park for smaller kids. Not a lot of shade.

Very spacious park with a lot of room to run around. It is a very quiet part of town and everytime I have gone we have had the park to ourself. There isn't really a walking trail, which is a something I look for in parks cause I like to walk or run and then let my kids play on the playground. The playground is smaller and simple, but still fun and well taken care of. Not much for smaller kids to do, but still fun. There are really nice baseball fields here too.
