The Summit Center is a beautiful place for different activities. Perfect for kids & adults. It’s also a great place for photos. We had our first family photo shoot there and that was the perfect place!

Such a great park space for families! The bathrooms were clean and well-lit, which is always appreciated when visiting with children. The playground design is unique and not the traditional setup, which made it really fun and interesting for the kids. It’s also very spacious and thoughtfully laid out so parents can comfortably sit and still easily see their kids playing. Overall, it felt very welcoming and well maintained!

Summit Center Park in Midland has quickly become one of the city’s best-designed and most enjoyable outdoor spaces. I absolutely love this place — it’s clean, modern, and incredibly family-friendly. The park anchors the larger Summit Center development, blending open green space with nearby dining and retail, which makes it perfect for spending a few relaxed hours without ever feeling boxed in. The layout is thoughtful: wide lawns for running or lounging, shaded seating areas for parents, and a modern playground with soft turf instead of rough mulch or gravel. Everything feels intentional and well-kept, from the landscaping to the lighting that keeps it inviting even as the sun sets. What stands out most is how versatile the park feels. You can bring young kids to play safely, enjoy a picnic or takeout from one of the nearby spots, or just stroll and unwind. It’s one of the few parks in Midland where you can genuinely feel a sense of community forming — you’ll see families, couples, and groups of friends all sharing the space without it feeling crowded.
