Would've been nice to have been informed when making the reservation, that construction was going to be happening during our stay. No I do not want someone in my room for up to 30 minutes taking measurements whether I'm there or not. Our day of departure we woke up to no hot water, however we were given adequate compensation. The staff was really great. The night shift staff was especially helpful helping us find local stores for our wants and needs. Honestly it's the staff that makes this place worth staying at. I'm sure the problems we experienced will be addressed and remedied. Thank you to the staff for really being tentative and accommodating, you are appreciated.

The kitchen staff was friendly. the pool and hot tub were quite nice. The breakfast food (while very over priced) was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. With all that being said... When we arrived to check into our room we were informed that we had been moved from the first floor room that we had reserved to the sixth floor. The desk lady was quite sassy, and non helpful. Complaining to us about not having a lunch break, and how irritated she was with their computer system. Very unprofessional. Our shower was not adjustable. It was steaming hot the whole time, which didn't feel good on our sunburns. Our AC unit leaked water the entire time we were there. It left a musky moldy odor to the room for the entire duration of our stay. Room service only attempted to come on the final morning of our 5 night stay. I'm seeing now that they have applied fifty something dollars in food charges to us, that we didn't even get. Hopefully they resolve this quickly and issue a refund for these charges. All in all, I feel as though a 2 star review is appropriate, possibly even generous.

Thank you *Jenny* for making our sister-stay better this weekend! (Checked out of room 318 on 8/2) You were kind and understanding. Also the young lady that helped me with the room key issue getting back from the pool area, Adriana! Raul was awesome at check in, too, polite and warm. This was a little trip to think about our dad that we lost who loved the beach. I hope to see the renovations!
