I notified the staff on the day we arrived that our room did not have hot water. Even with the faucet turned all the way to the hottest setting, the water was only lukewarm closer to cold than hot. My toddler could comfortably keep their hands under the water, which shows just how cool it was. The staff member working that evening dismissed the issue, attributing it to high hotel occupancy. No one came to inspect the problem or offered any meaningful assistance, and nothing was done to resolve it that night. The following morning, I checked on the status of the work order. The daytime staff made an effort to help and sent someone to our room twice to check the water. The first time, she let the water run for several minutes until it became hot. However, as soon as she left, the water turned cold again when we actually tried to shower. I'm not sure what the underlying issue was, especially since I was told the hotel had recently installed a new hot water heater. After spending our only night without reliable hot water, I decided to check out early rather than stay another night. After checking out, I found another hotel nearby with excellent accommodations, including reliable hot

Stayed here for 9 nights with my partner, along with her mum and dad and two brothers. (We had three rooms). I cannot speak highly enough of my experience of this place. The room was a great size and the bed was so comfortable! The housekeeping team do an amazing job with making up the bed with fresh linen and replenishing the bathroom towels etc. It always felt so clean. The pool is well kept and maintained to a clean and high standard. The location is great! Literally a 30 second walk from the beach. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within minutes walking distance that offer some great night life. The breakfast is also top notch with a great selection of things to choose from. The staff were so friendly and were always willing to offer help and advice. Thank you for giving us such great and friendly service!

To not be a huge beachside hotel it definitely was great. the rooms were nice and clean, bed relaxing and the service was great. I had a perfect view on the beach side. Breakfast was great even though the space was small in the lobby area it never seemed over crowded. TV's were modern and plenty to watch. Baths were good with plenty of toiletries that you need not bring any with you besides your toothpaste. The biggest take for me was the location, you couldn't have asked for better, all the taverns and restaurants you need are very close by. The downsides are the pool could be a little better unkept and the air conditioner a little bit better cleaned. They charge for parking on their own property ($12) and i was told every hotel on the beach does that. I've only ever had to pay for parking in Nashville and I figured that was because it was in the downtown area. But whoever come up with charging your patrons for parking was just money grabbing. I give the whole experience a hard 4.5 of 5 stars and if it'd not been for the parking charge I'd been happier.

This by far is one of the best, Best Westerns!! The room was clean and cozy with an extremely comfortable bed!! The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious! The staff I can’t same enough great things about, Katie’s hospitality was exceptional to say the least! Sophia was kind enough to personally go search our room for a lost item after we left. Highly recommend Jacksonville Beach Best Western! 10 out of 10 for sure! We will be back!
