A nice park with shade trees and picnic benches in several areas. A nice area for kids to play and a covered gazebo and plenty of grass.

Nice park & picnic area over plus lots of shade. North of the gazebo is another picnic area & large grassy field. My issues are with the playground . The main playground is mostly shaded but I find the equipment to not be suitable for the ages listed (5-12). The high bridge connecting the slides is completely inappropriate for a 5-6 year old and I find the lack of swings to be disappointing as well. There was 1 regular swing, 1 toddler bucket swing & then a round disk swing. The toddler play might be fun for very young toddlers since there is no slide & the area has sand/dirt so i definitelywould not put any crawlers in that area. The restroom was clean & very close to the playground. Overall the playground looks fun but lacks safety features & the slides were very slow. I think this is the first disappointing park review I have ever written.

Tiny park, but fairly well maintained. Most parks in this area are small by park standards, as LA is outrageously overpriced and land is hard to come by. The guy who said that burbank sets the standard probably works for the city. This place does get quite busy though, so it would seem that it's quite popular, even in spite of its lack of space.

Very pleasant park. Has children's play areas, grassy, tree shaded expanses. There are classes for everyone from seniors to children, including teens, with excellent teachers. The grounds are exceptionally well kept and the pool is beautiful. I haven't played on the softball fields, but they are as well kept as Santa Monica's, where I still play ball. Fine examples for LA parks where every bit of maintenance requires works orders and bureaucratic oversight or the budgets are slashed. Burbank sets the standard for excellent parks.

This is a great place for a party if you get there early enough or reserve an area.
