This place doesn't really follow the paddle system. They tend to play with their own group. We went here just to warm up and it nice that there were two men, one of them is name Ryan, that played with us. But from what I can see, it's clique. Which is fine but not for the novice as no one, looks like, will play with you. It was hard enough to get 3.5-4.0 to play with us. But you can get lucky, like us. 🤣😅 still nice people though but I wouldn't be going back here to play though.

We hosted a family gathering and New Year celebration at Larry L. Maxam Memorial Park and it turned out to be a perfect spot for our group of under 100 people. The park is very clean, well-maintained, and relaxing. The restrooms were spotless, which made a big difference for a long event. There’s a great children’s play area, basketball courts, and six pickleball courts. On Saturdays the pickleball courts can get crowded in the morning, but it usually calms down after 3 PM. Parking was easy there’s space around the park plus plenty of nearby street and neighborhood parking. One of the best parts is how simple it is to reserve space. You can book picnic tables and the lighted ball field through the Burbank Parks & Recreation system (at least 10 business days in advance). Reservation rates and details are clearly listed on the City of Burbank website, and the process is straightforward. You can also call their office if needed. Overall, this park is an excellent choice for family events, group gatherings, sports, and kids’ activities. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, spacious, and well-organized public park in Burbank.

All levels of play and fairly nice group of people. Been at roof top and indoor near hear in my opinion best pickleball option in L.A. Cause there not many.

Cute park! There is a section for little and bigger kids. Restrooms are clean too.

Right in the flight path for Burbank airport, so you will periodically hear and feel a roar and see them low, climbing right overhead. Faint smell of fumes.
