Excellent recreation center for UTEP students. It’s free if you are registered for classes. Indoor soccer, basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, Table tennis and Gymnastics are the most common games people play here. The intramural tournament is very competitive and popular.

This place has really fallen into disrepair of late. Pool constantly out of service, has needed to be replastered for a decade and the staff act surprised when the chemicals are obviously difficult to keep under control as a result. TVs are broken or off for nearly a year with no effort to fix, several of them are pointed at the ceiling instead of at customers and the tvs aren’t even programmed to get basic channels they should have access to and are set to strange channels no one would want to work out to. I’m sorry but this feels like the epitome of laziness for whoever is in charge of this facility. Of nearly a dozen water fountains throughout the facility I think maybe 4 work, and there is absolutely no attempt to fix the broken ones in the most high traffic areas of the facility. Either UTEP has stopped funding this space in an egregious way or this facility needs new management. The place closed down for nearly 4 weeks over the holiday for “cleaning and maintenance” with absolutely nothing getting fixed. Expensive equipment around the facility not functioning properly cause of simple battery or cord replacement. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and I’m so disappoint

Great customer service, can get a $10 day pass if you are going with a member, or just stop a student outside and ask to sponsor you to get in, still paying the $10 fee. Has great pool, punching bags racquetball courts, great gym and basketball courts

Best gym in town hand down! Olympic size pool, indoor soccer, basketball courts, racquetball, indoor track, rock climbing gym, and outdoor fields make up this incredible place in addition to weights and workout machines.
