I paid full price to play 18 holes, so I expect to be able to finish all 18 holes. We were literally on the 18th fairway with plenty of daylight still left when an employee came out and told us we had to leave. We only needed a few more minutes to finish the round we had already paid for. Instead of showing any common sense or customer service, they chose to kick us off before we could even complete the final hole. To make things even more frustrating, we were not the reason the round took longer than expected. We kept up with the pace of play the entire day. The only reason we weren’t finished sooner was because the twosome ahead of us was playing extremely slowly, which was completely out of our control. If the course was concerned about pace, they should have addressed the group causing the delays instead of punishing the people who were actually keeping up. There was absolutely no reason we couldn’t have finished. There was still plenty of daylight, and it would have taken us no more than five extra minutes. Instead, we were denied the opportunity to complete the round that we paid good money for. That’s unacceptable. This experience showed a complete lack of respect for pay

JUNE 2026 - A true hidden gem in the DFW area. The fairways and greens were both in great condition during my round. What really sets this place apart is the land itself; the course was designed and constructed to become a protected nature sanctuary, and you can feel that as you play. Some of the fairways have fun undulations that keep things interesting, and if you're lucky, you might even spot a coyote or deer along the way.

First time playing out here and was definitely worth playing. Tee Boxes are nice , fairways are in great shape and greens roll pure. GPS on carts work well and helps with not knowing the course and with blind spots.

Expensive to me and got kicked out of my cart on the #1 tee box. Because they added a single to our group and that person already had a cart - therefore one extra cart was a problem. Seems sort of cheap to me. Course was in excellent shape and saw the cart girl 4-5 times. Zero wait on any tee box - saw Marshall once or twice - little confusing on routes to holes on a few holes and some of the wooden bridges need some maintenance attention. Club house has facia wood falling off and it needs the exterior painted. Been a few years since I had been there and its sort of showing its age a bit. All in all still a very nice golf course.

If you live in Mansfield and want to play an excellent course. It is very well designed, and the greens are immaculate. Geared to more experienced golfers. Most tee boxes are from shoots. And I must say the staff is excellent they have the friendliest cart guy in the DFW. And for the Pro Shop is very helpful and friendly. 5 stars
