Course was good enough. Rating is for two reasons. Dynamic pricing-- price should have been lower for day/time we played as there was no one teeing off around our time Water-- or lack thereof. Nothing to drink on course and no beverage service the whole round. Extremely disappointing given the time we played (12:30)

Played 36 holes here yesterday, which says a lot because I usually don’t want to play the same course twice in one day. The course is in good shape overall and has a fun layout that keeps you thinking. It’s challenging enough to keep things interesting without being unfair. The staff was friendly, the pace of play was solid, and the value is hard to beat. I’ll definitely be back.

Lake Arlington Golf Course is probably one of the best public courses in the area, especially for the price. The only thing I’d say they lack is a driving range. Aside from that, the overall experience is great. The course itself is well maintained, challenging, and extremely fun to play, with interesting holes and great use of the landscape. It really makes you think through your shots and can help improve your overall game. One thing I really appreciated was the active ranger presence throughout the course. They do a great job ensuring pace of play, keeping groups moving, and helping maintain order. The course conditions were solid, and the layout makes it one of the most enjoyable rounds I’ve played in a long time. For the price, this is easily one of the best values you’ll find in the DFW area. I would definitely recommend this course and will continue coming back.

I need to give credit where credit is due. I've been playing this course off and on for 25+ years. It has certainly had its ups and downs (like all courses), but I was certainly impressed with the course today. This review is regarding my round on 7/27/2025. First of all, the $52 weekend green fees are certainly reasonable compared to the going rate at a variety of DFW courses. I found my golf cart to be in pretty good shape, and it had the yardage/GPS screens included. I've paid plenty more than that at other courses without the GPS perk. There were also additional storage cubbies near the roof of the cart. The staff was great. I wasn't two steps into the clubhouse and was greetly nicely by the staff. The cart girl came around at least 4 times during the round, which was welcomed in this Texas heat. I can tell there has been some money and work poured into the course recently (maybe the last year or few years). All of the cart paths were smooth, and the areas surrounding tee boxes/fairways are "kept up" a lot more than I remember. Sightlines have improved (for example, blue tee box on 7 to the green looks great; tee box on 4 to the fairway is a more player-friendly angle/view tha

This was my first time playing this course. And ohh am I'm hooked. What a well kept course. The green were very consistent. Fairways borderline with gorgeous trees. And lots of trouble. And you will need to position your ball for the next shot a lot of blind spots and there's no hole the same. Just what a awesome course. And wait the staff was amazing. I didn't have a tee time in the Pro Shop got me out. So if you haven't played here I would definitely suggest you check it out!!!
