This is a great staycation place. Nice pool with a couple slides and lazy river. Small arcade and snackbar right there besides the pool. Not a place you'll go stay for a full week but perfect for a couple day getaway.

I want to take the time to recognize Sergio Orozco. I was having problems with a lost package for weeks and he helped me find it and sent it back to me! Excellent example of hard work and going the extra mile for customer service! Thank you so much!

Our experience at The Woodlands Resort was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price of the stay.Upon checking in, we were told our room was not yet ready, which was inconvenient but understandable. While waiting in the lobby, we noticed staff repeatedly batting away bugs around the check-in area and laughing about it, which immediately raised concerns about the property’s condition and how seriously the issue was being taken. After finally receiving access to our room, it became clear that it was nowhere near ready for guests. On the walk to the room, there was a strong smell of some sort of substance in the hallways. Once inside, we began wiping down surfaces and immediately noticed what appeared to be blood stains on the door lock and in multiple areas of the carpet. It was shocking that a room in that condition had been released to guests after we had already been told the room was not ready. The room itself felt old and poorly maintained. There were gnats present, several lights were not functioning, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. For a resort charging premium rates, the condition of the room fell far below expectations. We requested a refund and

We stayed over memorial weekend and had a lovely time. The resort is clean and beautiful! I loved having so much space to explore (especially because my toddler was ready to run around all weekend). The staff were all very helpful and were able to accommodate a switch from a King room to a double queen. Throughout the weekend we enjoyed the pool and I was happy to see that the place didn't feel crowded. My toddler enjoyed the kiddie pool and the foam party on the splash pad.

As a vendor and decorator, our experience with the venue management was disappointing due to their lack of flexibility and restrictive policies. Despite our efforts to fulfill the couple’s specific vision for their wedding stage, management denied several reasonable requests, including a minor six-foot stage extension. This forced our team to scramble at the last minute to adjust the design, which was frustrating given the high premium the clients paid for the space. Furthermore, we found the additional costs for basic utilities to be excessive. Charging $100 per electrical outlet felt unreasonable for a professional event space where such services are typically standard. It was clear that the venue prioritizes additional fees over the client experience, making it difficult to deliver the high-quality results the bride and groom deserved.
