Beware and choose somewhere else!! We planned to stay here for 4th of July weekend but couldn't. The room we got was very old and dated with a broken sink handle, hot & cold knobs being opposite, and there were broken tiles in the restroom, plus damaged flooring in the room. The chain lock on the door was broken and as guests were returning to their rooms at night, it sounded like they were trying to open our door so I didn't feel safe and didnt sleep. The blinds didn't close completely and the curtains did not keep light out. Room smells musty & unclean, and the towels are so old and thin. The patio screen door came off tracks when we opened it. Lastly, the AC unit was loud when it turned on. When I brought this to the front desk, they told me only the queen rooms were renovated to match pictures online, not the King rooms. I asked to speak with the general manager and when I explained everything to her, she said she could only refund the night we didn't stay because we stayed the first night when we could have left. We recently stayed at the Pierpont Inn and honestly had a really good experience, mostly because of Gina and Maci! We booked through Hotels.com, but when we got there the room just wasn’t what I had in mind. Gina was amazing though! She took the time to show me a few different room options that would be open the next day and made me feel totally taken care of. We came back the next day and Maci made it super easy to switch us into one of those rooms, no stress at all! Both of them were so sweet and actually cared, which you don’t always get these days! The rooms were pretty clean, which I always notice right away. My only complaint would be the noise from the highway, but honestly with the views it was easy to ignore. The beach is a quick walk from the hotel which was perfect, and between that and the service we got, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you to Gina and Maci!
