The facilities here are amazing and the staff are lovely. Joselyn and Elliot were really sweet the past times I’ve been. Samuel Grand has made a customer out of me!

I joined a new pickleball league three weeks ago at Samuel Grand and Ben encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and play. He was extremely personable and even warmed up with me to take off any pressure of the anxiety of meeting a new friend group/ social group setting. I cannot thank him enough for his humbleness, hospitality, and overall great customer service. I would recommend anyone to play at Samuel grand that wants to expand their game and circle as well as have people interact with Ben as he creates a welcoming environment and instills the culture of Samuel Grand

Looked up a place to play pickleball as a group activity for work and found Samuel Grand. A few of us pulled up and were greeted with a smile by an awesome front desk employee Jocelyn. She informed us that we needed to create an account and make a reservation. It was quick and simple. Luckily there was a court available. Jocelyn was very accommodating signing everyone up and even explaining a few of the rules for pickleball (we googled a few as well). The courts seem to be well maintained. This will definitely be a place for our monthly team building.

Despite having a fun time once on the court that was clean, empty, and well taken care of; our experience with the front desk staff being extremely unfriendly is the reason I will not be returning. Ben greeted us with a hostile attitude and was not helpful in explaining pay structure but kept demanding payment. He was passive aggressive from the moment we walked in and was directly threatening in his comment “be careful” when our frustration of not having clear communication started causing high tensions. Giving him the benefit of the doubt of having a bad day, it was still unacceptable.

I visited Samuel Grand Tennis & Pickleball and initially had a great experience the facility itself is very nice. Unfortunately, that quickly changed due to how a booking issue was handled. There was a scheduling mistake made by a newer employee, which we completely understand these things happen. However, the way Annabelle addressed the situation was extremely disappointing and distasteful. Instead of handling it with professionalism or even basic courtesy, she was dismissive and unnecessarily rude. Telling customers “that’s life” when they’re inconvenienced by an internal error is not acceptable. Customer service matters just as much as the facility itself, and unfortunately, this interaction left a lasting negative impression. I would strongly encourage management to invest in better staff training, particularly when it comes to communication and conflict resolution. It’s unfortunate that what started as a great day ended on such a sour note all because of how the situation was handled, not the mistake itself.
