Our experience at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa was exceptional from beginning to end! A special recognition goes to Marcus at Cibolo Moon, who was an amazing bartender. He was professional, personable, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. His outstanding service, positive attitude, and attention to detail made our time at Cibolo Moon even more memorable. We also want to recognize Ramona, our medical massage therapist, who was absolutely amazing. She was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and provided an exceptional massage experience. Her expertise and personalized approach made the session both relaxing and restorative and was truly one of the highlights of our stay. Marcus and Ramona both demonstrated the outstanding hospitality and level of service we expect from a five-star resort. They are tremendous representatives of the JW Marriott team and deserve recognition for creating such a memorable experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa!

This was my first time staying at the JW Marriott San Antonio, and as a Marriott member, I couldn’t have asked for a better first impression. Lily M. checked me in and was absolutely exceptional. She was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely made me feel valued as a guest. You can immediately tell that she knows exactly what she is doing and takes pride in providing outstanding service. She made the entire check in process seamless and effortless. Lily is a great representation of Marriott hospitality and set a very high standard for my first stay at this property. Thank you, Lily, for such a wonderful welcome!

It’s big, but their biggest issue is their ratio of # of rooms and then being able to accommodate them is WAY off. Check-in was a nightmare. Not enough baggage carts and people were literally yelling at bell hops for providing carts for people who came after those who had their luggage on the ground waiting for one. Then, when you finally get one and enter hotel, there’s an hour wait to check-in Waterpark is great but there wasn’t a single lounge chair available. We had to just put our stuff in middle of a sidewalk. Lazy river so crowded there were log jams that kind of made it dangerous for my kid who didn’t have a tube. Long lines just to get food/drinks. You have to have reservations for their restaurants way ahead of time. Walk-ins were given 45 min to over an hour wait times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Never makes sense to me when resorts don’t calculate where to put everyone who stays there as if they expect people just to sit in their rooms all day. Or it’s due to greed as I truly paid $27 for a margarita my first day. Not even top shelf. I refused to buy another drink the rest of the trip. I would’ve bought a lot more if they didn’t gouge people.$29/day just to sel

Stayed 3 nights 4 days Location was great and the facility itself was very beautiful- landscaping was well kept. Room was a little pricy for what you get, the room should be bigger and have more amenities for the price you’re paying. Food and drinks were very overpriced, I feel like more than any other resort hotel we have stayed. Daily Activities were targeted more for little kids not much for teens other than water park, but that was nice, have them bring a friend you’ll thank me later or book w a 2nd family so they have someone to run around with. We did the top golf virtual experience $85 for 1 hour ( again a little over priced) and it was ok they had to reset it a few times but again the manager made it right. There were some great yard games we enjoyed hanging out and doing a few of those: pool tables, shuffle board, chess and checkers and 1 set of cornhole board. Weight room had lots of options Wait staff was great anytime we got anything, pool service for day beds area -Tory was our server and she was excellent and very attentive. 18 oaks steakhouse was worth the money : service was top notch and food was good as well. Just a hike to get there from the main hotel. O
