My 8Y boy has worked with coach Megan. We would like to acknowledge that our boy showed significant improvement under her coaching and now he is graduating to the next level. My boy was engaged and motivated for his tennis class with Megan. Megan has been very pleasing, compassionate and understanding. We are very thankful to Megan for all the work she did.

Visited High Point Tennis Center last weekend for the first time and had an awesome experience. The staff, especially Victor was incredibly welcoming and informative, which made a great first impression right away. The environment itself is top-notch clean, energetic, and clearly built for players who love the game. What really stood out was their quick turnaround on an emergency racket stringing. Super fast and clutch when my son needed it most. Honestly, the experience was so good I wouldn’t hesitate to make the 30 minute drive again just to come back. Highly recommend!

Denied a valid reservation at High Point Park pickleball — staff (Sai) refused entry saying only four people could check in per reservation even though our group of six always had no more than four on-court at a time (exactly per posted policy). Sai gave conflicting explanations, refused to show the availability map, and were dismissive and confrontational with raised voices. Meanwhile we observed other courts over the 4-player limit and several courts left empty between 8:00 PM–10:00 PM. Complete lack of consistent enforcement or transparency. Disappointing customer service and poorly managed.

The place is pretty and the tennis courts are amazing. But if you’re looking for any help inside, do not go to the Asian guy. I went inside on Saturday, March 21 at 7:30 PM. Asking for help about racket size, different selection and string recommendations. This guy would NOT help us at all. His answer for everything from behind the desk was it’s whatever you like. He recommended we just pick whichever is pretty since my children weren’t true advanced players Even when I asked him to show us rackets, he could not be bothered to stand up and/or show us anything. Even when I asked for somebody else, his response was well you’re just lucky. I’m here because anybody else would just tell you there’s nothing I can show you or help you with. Since I’m the Tennis pro here. But for being “the” Tennis guy, he sure could not be bothered to get up and actually show us or help us with anything. After no longer wanting to deal with his arrogance, we decided to go shop elsewhere. We left and purchased two brand new Babolot rackets with strings spending a total of $800 at Frisco tennis and stringing. OMG, almost total opposite experience. I really wanted to like High Point Tennis Center, but after several visits in the evenings, I’ve had enough. In my experience, the evening staff is unnecessarily rude and confrontational. Instead of helping players enjoy their time on the court, they seem more interested in policing people selectively. I’ve personally seen them single out certain players for “policy violations” while ignoring others doing the same thing, which feels inconsistent and unfair. What makes it more frustrating is that this is a City of Plano–owned facility, yet it feels like all they care about is profit rather than community access. After paying for court time, you’d expect to be treated with respect—and if a court is sitting empty, most places would just let players finish their game. Instead, staff here seem eager to lecture and argue with paying customers instead of using common sense. To make matters worse, no other facilities nearby behave like this. Courts of McKinney, Fretz Recreation Center, and others treat players fairly and never hassle people over unused courts or nitpick their policies. High Point is the only place where this has been an issue. This could be an amazing community resourc
