I joined Gleneagles Country Club primarily for the dining and social experience, since I do not golf. Unfortunately, the service has been consistently unacceptable. On my most recent visit, I sat in the men’s club for approximately an hour and a half without a single employee acknowledging me. During that time, I watched roughly 25 other members arrive, order, eat and leave. I was never greeted, offered a menu, asked for a drink or told that someone would be with me. I eventually left without being served. This was not an isolated incident. On previous visits, I have waited for a hostess who never arrived, seated myself and then had to track down a server. Even when service is provided, basic things such as refilling drinks or bringing a steak knife with a steak are regularly overlooked. This appears to be a serious management, training and accountability problem. A private country club membership should provide a better experience than an ordinary restaurant….not make a paying member feel invisible. Because dining and socializing were the primary reasons I joined, I will be canceling my membership.

I had the pleasure of getting married at Gleneagles Country Club in October, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how everything turned out. Diane and her team were incredibly professional, and I loved every moment of the wedding planning process. My husband and I are so grateful for all the wonderful staff at Gleneagles Country Club! They made our wedding day so incredibly special! My husband and I will always remember how each staff member made us feel - Thank you Mackenzie for being so supportive and amazing when it came to helping our vision come alive and making sure everything went smoothly the day of our wedding! Thank you Juan for being so thoughtful and generous when it came to helping us set up our decorations and continually reassuring us that our day would run smoothly. Thank you to all the kitchen staff who prepared our wedding meal - it was DELICIOUS and we are so grateful for the attention to detail, our guests had so much food to eat and for that we are incredibly grateful! Thank you to all the Gleneagles who made our special day possible! My husband and I will always remember our wedding day and will be forever grateful and thankful for how our special day came to life!!! Gleneagles Country Club is a beautiful club at Dallas. It has a huge golf course which anyone can love. They also have good spacious ballroom which can be perfectly suitable for every event, which is located at lobby level. I have been there for a social event which was in the ballroom, arrangement was good, staff was courteous and helpful. Everything was good there.
