I love this park. A great place to play tennis or pickleball for free. Everyone is nice out there too.

I took my pup walking also went swimming water was perfect and relaxing not a crowded pool we got a 15 minute break at 3:00 pm the staff was super professional and helpful plus courteous

Open to public and big park with several tennis and pickleball courts. There is a pool but no water and closed. Available restrooms but as may times I’ve been here, sometimes it’s dirty sometimes it’s clean. There is bike / skateboard park. Parking is plenty but when busy it can get full and side street parking can fill up. There are some picnic tables and grills but plenty of benches with shades. It’s next to large cemetery with residence/homes surrounding it. Sometimes encounter homeless or beggars.

A good place to play and enjoy with family and/or friends. Currently renovating some areas but you can still play Tennis and Pickleball...FOR FREE which is the best part. A great way to just do outdoor activities and break the daily routine of work life. Recommended!

While visiting my sister in San Antonio, I looked for a place to play pickleball. This facility was nearby, had great, permanent courts, and a wonderful group of welcoming people having open play. There are pickleball and tennis courts here in separate locations. The courts were very well marked.

Fairchild is a great park, especially the 8 pickleball courts that parks and recreation graciously lined for us. We have a group of Pickleball players that show up in the evening and Saturday mornings. The group is very welcoming to players coming from out of town as well a new players especially beginners. I highly recommend this park for pickleball players.
