Service was great, omelet bar was delicious, and the location is convenient, although not in a very walkable neighborhood. However this location seems to be in need of a bit of repair/maintenance investment. Our door stuck every time, the accessible shower head leaked when off during shower, and the killer was the double header of the ac being partially down during a heatwave and 3 of the 5 elevators being down while the hotel was highly booked due to some local event. The staff did everything they could to make the stay comfortable and went above and beyond to create a positive environment despite the challenges. But great service deserves a great, functioning, location.

AC was not working during our stay when there was a heat wave advisory here in Santa Ana. Tried to call the front desk through the phone in our room, no answer. I went downstairs in person to address this. Unfortunately, AC is not working in the whole hotel since 8pm. Estimated time of repair completion is 12noon the next day. By the time we came back from the park around 11pm, portable fans are already used by other guest/s. No other alternative options offered at this time besides just cracking the window and you can hear the noise outside. No other place within the vicinity is open for me to buy a portable fan. This is unacceptable. I had to check out the next day instead of staying for another night as originally planned, as the whole family wasn't able to sleep at night and was not comfortable. Also, I have noticed during our short one night stay, when we arrived from the theme park, fries on the floor by the entrance and it still there the next morning when I went to get buffet breakfast. Liquid on the floor with the slippery floor sign on the floor (in front of the elevators) were still there since last night as well. Cigarette butts and ashes everywhere at the front ent

We flew in for a business trip, stayed on the second floor and our room was a complete hot box. The AC wasn't working and I had been messaging back and forth with Elias and Abigail about the issue and they kept stating that the team is "working on it" or that they would "send up my team now" and there was absolutely no follow up and no one came to our room to fix anything. No offer to change rooms or anything. We were only there for the weekend and we spent most of our days out of the room, but we thought we would come back to something being fixed and there was NONE. Sheets were stained and I had to ask for new ones. The door knob was installed backwards because instead of pressing down to open, you have to pull up and push. And the floor was a bit dusty. Service could definitely have been better. As Hilton Honors Gold members, we were supposed to get in-room snacks and drinks and there were none. I had to go and ask for it. That's not a huge issue for me, but I've stayed at a lot of other Embassy Suites and have received way better service than what was received here. Also they only had 1 working elevator. This hotel needs a lot of work done! The only good thing here was probably
