This was priced at a 3star hotel but is maintained like a 1 star hotel. Our rooms smelled very musty. My parents bathroom had black mold on the shower curatain, in the grout, and on the returns. Our bathroom wasn’t much better but the room smelled worse. Corporate has clearly abandoned this property. It is sorely outdated, rusted, and unkempt. We didn’t go in the pool area but the hot tub had caution tape around it. We shouldn’t have even stayed one night. By the time we realized how awful the hotel was we were exhausted from traveling and the beach and didn’t want to pack all our kids and parents and find a last minute reservation. Thankfully the staff was kind and cancelled our second night reservation without a fee. It was really disappointing because the night prior we stayed at the Embassy Suites in Houston and it was a nice hotel.

I do not recommend Embassy Suites in Corpus Christi. This used to be a beautiful, high‑class hotel, but due to poor management it has become run‑down and unclean. The rooms were extremely disappointing. The entire room smelled musty. The carpet was old and very dirty. The furniture was stained and dated. There was even mildew on the ceiling. Overall, the condition of the room felt neglected and far below the standard this brand is known for. With the right ownership and investment, this property could absolutely be beautiful again. But in its current state, I strongly do not recommend staying here. After just one night, our entire tennis team checked out and moved to the Omni, which was only slightly more expensive and a much better experience. A few positives: • The staff was friendly. • The breakfast was good. • The air‑conditioning worked very well.

Had a fantastic stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Corpus Christi! The complimentary breakfast was absolutely spectacular — especially the made-to-order omelets, which were hands down one of the highlights of our stay. The evening happy hour cocktails at the bar were such a nice touch and made the atmosphere feel fun and relaxing. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable, and being pet friendly was a huge plus for us. Great service, great amenities, and an overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Corpus Christi! The hotel is known for its complimentary made-to-order breakfast, evening reception, spacious suites, and pet-friendly rooms.
