I stayed at the Embassy Suites in Downtown Amarillo for two weeks straight, and the hotel itself was great. But this review is about their conference and events side, and specifically about Michelle, who was our point of contact while we used their conference rooms to run two solid weeks of technical training for my company. From day one, Michelle made sure we had everything we needed. Table and chair setups, the right size screens and the right cables, lighting, all of it. Every meal we had arranged, breakfast, lunch, and a light snack each day, showed up exactly as promised. And I mean exactly. Michelle checked in with us frequently to make sure meals were served at the precise minute we asked for, that the room temperature was comfortable, and that nothing was slowing us down. She did all of that and more, always spoke so sweetly, and even took a real interest in the work my company was doing. That kind of care is hard to fake. Here's what really impressed me, though. Due to some last-minute changes in planning on our end, we booked our conference rooms literally THREE DAYS before our first class. And even after that, things changed on our side yet again, and Michelle adapted

Embassy Suites Amarillo was a great place to stay! The hotel is beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained. The two-room suites are always a favorite because they give you plenty of space to relax instead of feeling cramped in a standard hotel room. One of the highlights was the thoughtful welcome amenity I received as a Hilton Honors member, a nice assortment of both sweet and savory snacks. It is always such a nice touch and makes me feel appreciated as a loyal guest. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and everything throughout the hotel was clean and comfortable, with the exception of the outside entry awning. Don’t forget to clean that every now and then! The location is convenient with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, making it an easy choice whether you’re traveling for work or just passing through. I’d definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Amarillo.
