We had not stayed here in years and finally came back, yet the hotel is NOT aligned with the price point at all. It felt more like a unkept charmer. The location was great as you can walk to the village. Yet the pool, which was why we came was disgusting! The staff never picked up afrer guests eating trash was so full, birds and bees everywhere (my son got stung on foot by stepping on one) and dishes and towels just left. Not sure if they are under staffed or just do not care. It was over $800 a room, which is so crazy for what was given. Maybe you pay for location. I would suggest looking into the another property or ensure this property has figured it out. A Marriott is usually pretty standard in service, design and quality. What happened here? Once again, the location is amazing- truly.a great spot, views are amazing. Hope this review is helpful on setting a realistic experience, so you are not disappointed like many of us recent stayers.

This is still my favorite hotel on Coronado Island, and I will definitely stay here again because of the beautiful location and relaxing atmosphere. However, for the high price, the hotel feels outdated. Some rooms have a musty smell, the lighting is dim, the bathrooms and refrigerator are old, the water pressure is low, and the lunch quality could be better. The extra charges are also disappointing. After paying about $1,400 for two nights, the total came to nearly $1,800 with parking, resort fees, and other charges. I also wish there were more outdoor activities for kids. I truly love this hotel and hope it will be renovated and modernized one day to better match its luxury rates.

This Marriott offers many amenities, and informative customer service! To my knowledge most if not all rooms have a good sized balcony. Our room had a roomy bathroom that included a shower and a bathtub, comfy beds with ok pillows (like any other hotel), a large TV, etc... We had a great view of the harbor as well! There is a pool, a restaurant with outdoor seating in front of the harbor, and a lawn for activities. It's really not necessary to valet here because they have their own dedicated parking garage for self-parking. The front desk is friendly and informative. It's a little challenging to figure out where to go to find your room, so listen when they explain the details! (Please note: I am moving my reviews from Yelp to Google, which means you may also see this review on Yelp). I visited this business April 2026).
