First time staying here at it was for my son's graduation. The hotel was super nice and clean and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend staying here. Our room was spacious and quiet and we enjoyed the breakfast and evening drinks.

Very nice front Desk gentleman when we first checked in. He helped us find our room and extremely nice also welcoming. We are from out of town. Had no problems and it was cold out, so the indoor pool was perfect! We will always stay there when visiting Lubbock! I think his name was Michael but not for sure. He wears glasses so down to earth and actually wants to help his guest. My favorite!

​I had a great stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites University in Lubbock and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. ​One of the unexpected highlights was the social hour—they offered free beer, wine, and snacks, which was a fantastic way to unwind and felt like a true "extra mile" touch for guests. The indoor pool was also a total gem; it was clean, well-maintained, and a perfect spot to relax regardless of the weather outside. ​As for the essentials, the room was spotless and very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night's rest. Between the great amenities and the clean accommodations, this is easily one of the best stays in town. Unfortunately, this hotel was the worst we've ever stayed in. I used to work at a five star hotel and I know exactly how detailed they are supposed to be. This hotel is definitely not even close to being a five star hotel. The receptionist kept changing our rooms from the first floor to the second floor to the third floor. We rented two rooms: one king suite and a double queen suite. As soon as we walked into the rooms, they both felt disgustingly humid. The AC units had black mold on the inside of them in both rooms (room numbers 318 and 314). In room 318, one of the bed's fitted sheets had snot on the corner of it, as if someone had been picking their nose and wiping it on the bed. On the other bed, there was some kind of bug. The air vents in the bathroom were covered with so much lint and hair, and there was rust everywhere. In room 314, the AC also had black mold and dust inside it. There was hair everywhere in the bathroom, stuff splattered on the mirror, a Q-tip on the floor, and crumbs of something on the floor right when you walked in. As for the bathroom, the toilet seat wasn't clean someone's butt cheek sweat was on the toilet seat. The showers were disgusting and slip
