Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Fresno is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fresno follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We arrive about 1pm and waited in line for about 5 minutes. It took a total of 10 minutes for all 7 of us to get checked in. I call that quick but I can see that if it was a busy day the process can take awhile. The water was super clear and it wasn't overly crowded. All 7 of us had a fantastic time swimming. We will return again. Oh, there is not a whole lot of shaded areas so bring your own canopy.

Place is really great for kids and families to beat the heat. A lot of life guards on duty which is great. They let you bring cooked food, chairs, canopies non alcoholic drinks etc. My reason for the 4 stars is the check in process. I think they can work on making it go a lot smoother and quicker. They want you to fill out a paper waiver when you get there. It would be nice if this could be done online when purchasing tickets. Everyone over 18 needs an ID that they can scan. Then obviously they will check your ice chests. They also make sure the life vest you have for your child is approved by American lifegaurd assoication. I thought that was doing way too much and was frustrating after waiting in line for an hour. We got there at noon and didn't get in until 1. You are waiting outside in the hot sun. Not ideal. If they can get the check in process to go faster and smoother then 5 stars all around.

Very great water park place for children. Not a lot of tree shade so I’d recommend to bring your own shade tent or beach umbrella. Lots of lifeguards on duty, I felt comfortable knowing that they were on the look out.

Positive: The $6 entrance fee, there is a good amount of shades. Negative: The check-in line took too long. I stand in line for a good 40 minutes before i got in. It would be nice if they put on their website to buy the tickets in advance instead of making us buy it there when we have to purchase the tickets online anyway.
