Visited for a USTA league match and a guy from the Canyon Creek team tried to pick a fight with my partner. In a team member’s match the Canyon Creek players family was booing our team players. Have played at over 2 dozen county clubs around the DFW metroplex- never experienced this kind of behavior at any other club. Speaks to the class of the people that are members here.

As an interfaith wedding rabbi and officiant, I have had the privilege of celebrating weddings in many wonderful venues over the years. What stood out to me about Canyon Creek Country Club was the welcoming atmosphere that greeted guests from the moment they arrived. Some venues impress through grandeur. Others through scale. Canyon Creek succeeds by creating a setting where people immediately feel comfortable, relaxed, and ready to celebrate. Surrounded by beautifully maintained fairways, mature trees, and scenic views, the club provides an elegant backdrop while maintaining a warm and approachable character. As someone who spends a great deal of time observing how a venue shapes a wedding experience, I appreciated the versatility of the property. Whether exchanging vows outdoors overlooking the course or celebrating indoors with family and friends, the spaces feel connected, inviting, and thoughtfully designed for bringing people together. I was invited as a guest for pool opening day and the bartender was great friendly, attentive, doing her job well. But my visit went downhill pretty quickly when I watched a manager speak to her in a noticeably rude and unprofessional manner, right there in front of guests. I stayed since I had a tab open, and I kept noticing it. Look, I understand it was opening day and things can get hectic but I didn't see him speak to anyone else that way. It was clearly directed at her, and that's just not okay. For a club that's supposed to carry itself at a certain level, that kind of behavior from management is a real problem. You treat your staff with respect, period. That young lady was doing everything right and didn't deserve to be spoken to like that

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Canyon Creek Country Club this June and I couldn’t recommend them more. We needed to find a venue last minute due to our original plan falling through and Rose was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process from beginning to end. Their meeting space was absolutely gorgeous and Rose perfectly captured the image we had in mind for our event. We took some photos outside and the golf course in the background was stunning. We loved how we could decorate the pre-function area with photos to make our event feel as personalized as possible. I couldn’t recommend them enough, Rose and her team were incredible to work with and I’m so glad that we got to spend such a special day here. Thank you guys so much for everything!
