Passing through the area and Stayed here overnight after a big winter storm. I love Bass Pro for their friendly RV acceptance!

Very disappointed that I bought a set of chukka boots because they had a "lifetime materiel and workmanship warranty" that simply was not honored. Although the boots appeared to have sewn down sole, in reality this was glued down. This failed on one boot so I brought into Waco Cabelas on 11/18. The two young cashier's saw the Cabelas band on boot side and knew this warranty had existed and went to look up price ad the boot was no longer sold. A middle manager came along and said to me, "how do we know you even bought these boots here?" I said I'm not driving 40miles here to bring back a boot from elsewhere and there is the Cabelas stamp on the heel. Then he and his peer tell me they are no longer Cabelas as Bass Pro bought them out and warranty not to be honored. Was not looking for free lunch but it was this company that put the lifetime warranty on boot that had a pretty docile life. Cabelas name and word not what it was.

Who doesn't love kindly service and a smile?! I love these folks. I've been going to this particular store for eight or so years. I know staffing comes and goes, but these people know how to pick them and train them! I drive in from Eastland and will continue to for the special treatment we always get. Great job Cabela's! Rick was awesome and very helpful. He also made a great recommendation for dinner, for our seventeenth anniversary. Los Cucos. Thank you dear friend. See ya soon! I have made an incorrect identification. Although, I was helped by a gentleman in the shoe department and I think his name is Mario that I enjoyed also. Bill, in fishing was my first impression of the store staff and he was that I spent the most of my time with. He was actually the man that suggested the dining place for my anniversary. He also gave me a very in depth education of the fishing tackle and reels that are available. Thanks Bill! I remember that you gave me a card and my wife helped me with Mario's name. Covid brain didn't win this time!! Thanks again to the managing staff at Cabela's!!!

Cabela's has a great selection of most everything. Staff was friendly and funny. I looked at the cast iron collection and although they had some the Lodge selection wasn't great. I would have liked to see much more. They had a great fishing gear selection. Clothes collection was good too. Loves the fresh cinnamon nuts they had for sale. Great little stop for us! I enjoyed the decor hanging around as well.
