1 star. And honestly that feels generous. I went to Amador thinking “private members club” meant quality, standards, at least basic professionalism. I was there with a few of my Mexican friends and what we experienced was easily one of the worst dining experiences of my life. Let’s start with the food. I ordered a shrimp cocktail. What I got looked like it had been sitting out way too long. The shrimp smelled off. Not “maybe it’s just seafood” off — actually rotten. And they didn’t even clean it properly. The vein was still fully attached on multiple pieces. That’s basic prep. Basic. I took a few bites trying to convince myself it was fine, and within minutes I felt sick and had to run to the bathroom. Yes, actually sick. At a so-called private club charging premium prices. Speaking of the bathroom — disgusting. Dirty floors, nasty smell, looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in who knows how long. For a place trying to sell exclusivity and luxury, the restroom alone tells you everything you need to know about how they operate. Now let’s talk about the prices. Completely outrageous. Just joined this club and can’t believe I haven’t found out about this place earlier. Fantastic ambiance, great staff and awesome food. It’s the perfect place to host friends as well as clients or simply to meet cool new people.

Wow! I went on a Thursday night, which was slow and great for non-members. The staff (ZOE) was fantastic, and the drinks were great. Very relaxed atmosphere and met.so cool people. Soon, they'll have a bar on the first level. Bring your own cigars. It's definitely worth a visit.

Last night was a good experience. The cocktails were great and the food was good. I ordered the wedge salad with the billionaire bacon to start, then the scallops for the entree.

Sexy, swanky and sophisticated ...this is private upscale man cave! Adorned with smoking jackets and neck ties. As soon as I got off the elevator I was greeted by a gentlemen that checked me in. You have to be invited by a member to enter. There's a main bar surrounded by cozy couches in an intimate setting. I immediately had my favorite glass of Pinot and billionaire bacon. Thick chunks of bacon cooked to perfection. To die for! I followed up with the cheese connoisseur for a lovely plate of figs, salami and assorted cheeses. They also serve dinner after 6pm. I took a quick tour of the designer rooms they had for parties or meetings. Each one had a different theme. My two favorite, the velvet room and the wine cellar. Both excellent for a celebration! I didn't feel a creepy or pretentious vibe once so ever. Everyone was down to earth and friendly. There seemed to be quite of few business meetings happening. Their memberships are reasonable and for people out of the area that visit on occasion it's even better. I left saying, "why don't we have this for women!" Hmmm... Take a tour!
