I came here with my girlfriend and we will not be coming back. Immediately the staff at the front desk were rude and judgmental. He made us prove that we even had clubs, as if we hadn’t come to a golf course. This is the main reason I will not come back. Besides that the course was decent with a fun route. I simply cannot use that to justify the steep price (compared to other 9 hole courses in the area) and the rude service. Do yourself a big favor and make the drive to Bing Maloney or Emerald Lakes. I will add that our pace of play was fine, the group that started immediately after us never did catch up.

Love this golf course in the middle of Sacramento's iconic park Land Park. Golf is affordable, not pretentious, and the course is always is great condition. Everyone there is friendly. The course is very walkable, and forgiving. We play at Land Park every time we're in town!

Some of the volunteers/coaches are nice. For tots program, it lists Chris Vogel as the coach. However, he doesn’t respond to your reach outs AND provides 0 instructions to the children - at least to mine it has been 0. It’s puzzling.

I did enjoy my play at William Land Golf course. It was very odd to see people wandering around the park and occasionally into playable areas of the course. That is definitely something I'm not used to. The greens and fairways themselves were in good shape. The tea boxes however seem to be under maintenance.

We've been here a few times and have always enjoyed golfing at William Land Golf Course. The customer service is always great, and the course is well maintained. It's a relaxing spot in the middle of the city, perfect for a quick round.
