Wallenberg Park. You strange but interesting park. Hard to find parking the tennis courts have been abused. They have an abandoned Pickleball court with weeds growing up through it in the back area. The courts are adjacent to the school court which used to be available for the regular neighborhood players of Tennis. I guess the groundskeeper at the high school locks the gate now and nobody can use any school ground tennis courts even though they’re funded by the public and should be made available after hours. In general, it’s pretty embarrassing. San Jose doesn’t have every public court available and well-maintained. San Jose represents some of the finest athletes in the world, and we have the worst courts and facilities I’ve seen in the Bay Area . The maintenance and upkeep that I have seen is sporadic and filled by unskilled laborers that are not well trained, and definitely not supervised well.. if you wanna see a well maintained city park system check out Fremont. Their courts and facilities and parks are immaculate.

Went there to find a tennis court and waited 45 mins. The regular players were hogging courts and passing it over to new batch of players who walked in while we were waiting. Beware the crowd is not friendly or accommodating. Ideally city should put a clock outside to indicate play time start and end.

Couldn't find any parking around park. I parked in from of someone's home which may have been inconvenient for them. Good walking park.

Great area to bring your kids or walk the dogs and also has tennis courts. The parking is questionable

Quite park. Doesn’t have a parking lot. Has restroom, a nice play structure, plenty of picnic tables and a few bbq spots.
