Open Swim & Open Dive CLOSED FOR THE SEASON Recreational Pool Lap Swim M-F: 1 - 3:30 pm
Open Swim: Reservations are HIGHLY recommended and close the day of at, 11:30 am or once they are full. Ages 3-Adult are $10/each to enter the facility (swimming or not), ages 2 and under are Free. Open swim reservations are final sale and date is non-transferable. *Drop-in's are assessed at 12:15 pm each day. Arrive first come, first serve to our drop-in line. NOT GUARANTEED, subject to capacity staffing requirements.

Great place to get swimming classes for kids. The swimming coaches are awesome and got my daughter to float and swim within 2 weeks. The sessions are only 30 minutes long, but enough for the kids to learn.

Neh.. nice idea, looks nice in the pics. But way too crowded and loud to actually be enjoyable. And I came on a week day! My daughter was getting pushed by bigger boys and didn’t have a good experience.. can’t imagine what it’s like on a weekend! sad

A good public swimming place- pros: lap swim $5.50 from 7am to 1 pm most days- cons- check the schedule a lot of times it’s cancelled a lot for swim meets. Also lanes can be completely full in which case they do not give refunds. Pro: open swim (kids swim) with water slides and play pool is nice on summer days. Con: open swim not open a lot, esp September and October one of Venturas hottest months (June and July can be really cold). Also booking system is not very easy to navigate and it sells out on hot days. Worst feature: Swim lessons: impossible to get, have to book 2-3 months in advance and click it right at 12 when it opens, and you still won’t get a spot. Pool is often cold, if that is bother to some kids like for the babies class. Overall, it’s a good resource for Ventura but it’s not a place you can just roll up and go swim. If it’s a beautiful sunny August day- good luck.

Really easy to make reservations or just show up to use the pool. Kids are well accommodated and the pool is really clean and managed well. There are plenty of lifeguards and a lot of various classes and activities to do there. The lap pool is immaculately clean and easy to use. It's not a hassle to go there and enjoy yourself. Highly recommend.

Pretty outdated facility and is in bad shape. Staff are nice. Lifeguard on duty. Huge parking lot. Thank you for RV friendly parking! Shower like is in prison. Very slow water but hot enough. Water temp in the pool is super comfortable! Should be much better to not divide big pool for 25 yard lanes - it's downgrading Olympic size of it.
