one of my favorite places to walk and reflect. Beautifully maintained, gorgeous pond with birds and squirrels around it. Peaceful and gorgeous!

A recreation center of texas tech university where You can play almost all outdoor games like Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball etc. and some other games. I don’t know all the name of the games. Its best place for jogging, walking even passing time with your friends. If you want to arrange some programs like get together, festival , you can go for it.

Great place to meet with friends or hold events! If you plan on holding events at any of the pavilions you need to request permission from the Tech website first. They’re quite response and usually have plenty of time spaces available. There’s a mile loop around the park which is great for running. There’s tennis courts, sand volleyball, low hoop and regular basketball court, soccer field, horse shoes, and washers. The football field is great for football or ultimate frisbee. Although the grass on the football field usually gets pretty thin by mid-semester. There’s plenary of lighting at night around the mile loop. You can request ahead of time for large overhead lights to illuminate the any of the fields till as light as mid night. In Lubbock county your not allowed to hang hammocks so there’s are six hammock pools which can hold up to 12 hammocks throughout the park. At the back of the park near the tennis courts there’s an outdoor workout center with a rubberized base. Lastly there’s an outdoor amphitheater which occasionally hosts free concerts or events.

Urbanovsky is a great place for personal fitness and fun with friends. Great open fields for football, ultimate, and soccer (although the soccer goals are pretty small). It's also great for events and get togethers. If you come for running I would recommend coming early in the morning, before 11 at least or later in the evening. It can get pretty toasty around noon.
