UNF’s gym is top notch! Equipment for everyone! Doesn’t matter if you’re a pro gym goer or novice you will feel right at home here. Friendly staff always available to help and you can sign up for free workout instruction. Showers & bathrooms nice and clean & lockers are provided as long as you bring your own lock. Don’t forget you have access to the rock climbing wall, workout classes/ meditation classes & the pool as well! Can’t say enough about this awesome gym! UNF, you’re the best NEST ever!💪🏼❤️😘

Over all Very awesome place to work out. I wish there was a sauna however. The only thing I have negative to say is that since they have redone the floors there is a pungent chemical smell that you eventually get used too after about 10 minutes of working out. However I am not convinced its not not carcinogenic or harmful to my lungs. makes me worried sometimes.

the student wellness complex is really complete. I stick to the weightlifting, rockclimbing and cardio sections inside. I love that I can get all of that done in one place. The locker rooms are always clean and even offer lockers that you can rent for an entire semester. The machines are also really good and they have a lot of attachments. The gym has a lot of squat rack so far I haven’t had to wait for one to open up and I go during peak hours. Some of the machines are not short people friendly but you have other accessories that you can use instead. not mention, they also have a Jamba Juice in the first floor so after you are done working out, you can go grab a bite.

This is a popular gym and it’s not open to the public. You will need to have an affiliation with an alumni or student. The front desk will be happy to tell you the offers and for $30 a month it is a great deal. They have a rock wall and indoor track as well as full locker rooms for individuals and families. The hours are subject to the university schedule and you will have to figure out parking but the space is huge so you never feel crammed inside even during peak times.

One of the best gyms in Jacksonville. Rock climbing wall, group classes, indoor track, and machines galore. Nice locker rooms, although lacking a sauna. I would prefer if the hours were longer or provide 24/7 access of some sort like other gyms vs being restricted to college hours.
