Lovely space. Excellent food. As a vegetarian, I was particularly delighted with the range of food I could eat. My deep gratitude to the person who made the food selections. I was pleasantly surprised to have creme brulee for dessert! Yum.

Anethesia Tech Graduation Ceremony and Luncheon 2026. Wonderful and welcoming room, full of history. Perfect for this Graduating cohort. The menu was excellent too.

We attended a fabulous wedding here at the University Club of Pasadena in late September. This historic club founded in 1922 made for a beautiful venue in a great location. The couple was able to personalize with photos and memorabilia set up on shelves in the breezeway inset area which was a sweet touch. The wedding ceremony took place outdoors on the Garden Patio. It was a gorgeous but warm, very sunny day and the seating on the right side could have perhaps used a sail shade of some sort as it was blindingly bright and quite warm on that side! It's a small thing as the ceremony was short, but thought I'd mention for anyone considering the space at a time of year when that's a factor. After the ceremony, we walked into the adjacent 1922 Lounge for the cocktail hour. This was a wonderful space with an eye-catching bar area, lots of seating and high tops, as well as plenty of room to mingle. We loved the signature cocktails and the passed hors d'oeuvres were absolutely delicious and plentiful! Onto the reception in the huge "Main Dining Room" with vaulted wood beam ceilings, chandeliers and warm hardwood flooring. Everything was configured beautifully, food was again delicious an

We held one of our pre-wedding events at the University Club of Pasadena ballroom and it was wonderful. Cinthia and her team did an outstanding job accommodating us and our Indian traditions. They allowed us extra space and time when we asked and let us have lots of flexibility in our design choices. The space is clean and the lights are lovely. They set up a platform, let us use space to store supplies, hooked up the screens, and offered coffee and tea anytime. The food was to write home about! We got to do a tasting of the food and gave the chef some notes. And boy did he deliver! We had a 3-course Mexican meal with chipotle salad, enchiladas with rice and beans, and flan! Our other meal was raved about by guests for days. We also had a 3-course Thai menu with Tom ka hai soup, eggplant curry with veg noodles and egg rolls, and Thai iced tea panna cotta. It was fantastic. We would love to host another event here again. It’s just lovely! Thank you!!

We got invited to this members only club for dinner as part of the whole week celebration of my wife’s birthday. The service here was excellent and our waitress was fantastic and very friendly. She made some good recommendations for food. She even got us a complimentary banana bread with ice cream dessert for my wife’s birthday. Cudo to her! She made our evening very memorable. The foods were good and we had a satisfying meal. We had moules frite for appetizer. The mussels were huge and fresh. The wine sauce came with this dish was delectable. It was perfect for dipping with French fries. We ordered two main dishes, one was chicken fajita and the other was short rib lasagna. The chicken fajita was delicious and the chicken was very tender. On the other hand, the lasagna was a bit of a disappointment. The cheese on top was hard to chew and the short ribs were quite dry. To accompany dinner, the courtyard was a perfect environment for a pleasant dinner. The evening cool air in Pasadena was right for outdoor dining. Overall, it’s kind of nice to dine in a private club. I want to thank the club for the invitation.
