I’ve been coming to this gym for a little over a year and I plan to stay throughout my time here in CSTAT. One of the things that specifically attracting me to TruFit is their women’s room. It has a decent amount of equipment and a lot of floor space. I do wish they had more updated equipment like the main gym has, but I enjoy using it for my free weight exercises. As for the main gym, they have everything you could possibly need to accommodate all types of training styles. I never fail to find a machine that I need, and enjoy their extensive selection. As for the crowd - the busiest I find it is around 5, typical with any other gym in the area. However, I enjoy how the gym doesn’t become congested during any other time of the day, unlike other gyms I’ve tried (I’m mainly referring to Crunch). It makes getting in and out of the gym easy, and I always appreciate not having to fight for machines. All in all, for the price, location, and amenities, it’s the perfect gym for me.

I am incredibly disappointed with the service and communication from this gym. I was a prospective member of this gym. I filled out the personal training request online, it said they would reach out.I got marketing texts daily, and one call that i returned within 10 minutes, I asked for a call back then it took 3 weeks for them to call me to meet with someone. I finally made an appointment with Natalie at 4pm. I got there at 3:55. The 3 guys at the front table said she was at lunch. I waited until 4:30. I asked if she came back yet and they said that she came back about 20 minutes earlier. She said nothing to me, they said nothing to her, she didn't try to come find me and look for her person that she scheduled an appointment with. The text I received were "i will meet you at the door" clearly that didnt happen. The whole experience was completely unprofessional and without basic respect for me, my patronage or my time. I am very disappointed by the way this facility treated me from start to finish. Just based on this experience I will not join and I will tell people my negative experience. Do better.

Filters out again, I wasted $1.50 on electrolytes that can't be drank. Had to go buy water. There is no reason extra filters should be ordered after running out. These should be in stock. I'm ready to cancel. A new gym should have new equipment btw and when you advertise $6.50 with $ .13 start up I shouldn't have to have purchased the multi location package. It was denied , but also right on the fricken desk as I pointed out. I don't recommend this gym. Closed at 6:15 when should be open. No bad weather.

Im only rating this a one star because it takes at least 2 months for them to repair a net that cost 20$ and it seems that they only care about one side of the basketball court operating. When mentioned to staff to get it repaired they say there’s nothing they can do, but when offered a solution like buying one for them and taking care of it they still refuse. Can’t even host games to play here because we are limited to half court.

My squad and I visited College Station this past weekend and needed somewhere to hoop the first day there. I have a TruFit near where I live and I have never been, so I wanted to see what it’s about. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and they quickly got us signed up through the 1¢ membership deal so we could spend more time on the court than in the lobby. A great location and a great atmosphere. When we come back, we’ll be back here for sure.
