Great large park! It has two play sets, two sets of swings, plus the big round ones that multiple kids can sit in, an exercise setup that my kids like playing on, big open fields, tennis courts basketball courts, and a walking path lined with trees all the way around. There is also a pavilion and water fountain near one of the play sets. Only thing it’s missing is a bathroom.

Be very VERY careful here. I come here to play tennis with my boyfriend all the time. Today we were being watched by a grey BMW. They would stay parked for 5 minutes then drive down the street probably about a hundred yards and park for 5 minutes again and again. What I though was weird is that they parked in the parking lot next to my car at an angle where I couldn’t see my car or the driver side of their car. Then 5 minutes later they parked right behind my car. I dont have a front license plate at the moment and I think they parked like that to snap a picture of it. After that they left the lot and parked on the other side of the tennis courts. Me and my boyfriend thought that was super sketchy so we grabbed our belonging and headed to the car. Immediately after we got our things the car moved all the way down to the stop sign and stayed there for a minute. At this time Someone else showed up to the park. We drove past it and noticed it was a female. Then we turned around to get the license plate number. By the time we turned our car around they were all the way on the other end of the park and exiting. So we followed by then she was gone. This was super creepy. Why would she ju

It's a nice green space in the middle of an established neighborhood. The playground is nice for kiddos and the southern side of the park has athletic courts and pavillion space. There's a small track around the northern area, but don't try running there after dark. There are a couple of wonky sections thst can trip you up if you're not careful and could really use some city-sponsored maintenance/updating.

I drove over from Round Rock to spend time with my daughter as her mother currently lives in College Station. We don't have a park that we go to regularly and decided to try this one out. We had a great time playing there today! Clean, uncrowded, literally no one on the playground and in a great location as far as my drive was concerned. 5 stars!

Many people use this park making it a great place to meet people. Soccer fields, basketball courts, tennis, swimming, a jogging trail around the grounds as well as several swings, slides and jungle gyms for the kids. Tables, bbq's, and trees to lay a blanket under or climb in. Thompson park has it all:)
