Very overpriced and very overrated school. No resources for alumni trying to find a new job since last year as Class of 2025 MBA, as they say just go on Handshake, a service that pays them to be used for the school. Enviroment was rather snobby, the Sykes COB is still dumpy for the most part compared to the rest of the school, and they definetly are still leaning on their we have a pretty campus recruitment tool. Save the money and go to a public Florida or other out of state school.

I didn’t go to school there but I go there for attending sports games. Nice small school in the heart of Tampa and very competitive in sports, especially in lacrosse. My only criticism is that the commencement is at Florida State Fairgrounds - I attended a commencement once and getting in and out was a disaster

I was enrolled in the MBA program at the University of Tampa and was only part of the School of Business. My experience was extremely disappointing and ultimately led me to transfer. First, the quality of instruction was very poor. Many professors were unprepared, disorganized, and disconnected from real-world business practice. Despite paying premium tuition, I did not feel that I gained practical or applicable skills that justify the cost of the program. Second—and most concerning—the credit structure is misleading. The MBA program is advertised as 40 credits, completable in 12 months, at $758 per credit hour. However, after starting the program, I discovered (on my own, not through advising) that I was actually required to complete 58 credits to graduate. This information was never clearly communicated beforehand. That is an additional $13,644 in tuition alone, which is a massive and unacceptable surprise for any graduate student. Third, there are no academic scholarships offered for graduate students, which makes the already expensive program even less accessible. Fourth, most MBA courses are only 2 credits, which creates serious problems if you decide to transfer. When I a

Excellent University. Our son is about to graduate and had one of the best life experiences attending there. Campus is beautiful, well maintained and always expanding. As a private university, we found that the overall costs to attend was less than our own so called state schools up north. Always warm and sunny in Tampa!
