We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very attentive and polite. We had our toddler with us and it was really nice to have great accommodations. We forgot the pack and play. Housekeeping was super great. They provided us with a pack and play, sheets and blankets. Our toddler loved the putting area and the cornhole area. The pool toys were a big plus as well. The waitress at Coquina, Stephanie was excellent!

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz on Amelia Island for our 26th wedding anniversary. The staff was very very friendly although they did not seem to be trained very well for a nicer hotel. This hotel is very old and the pool is tiny. It needs a major expansion in the pool area and possibly an adult area to separate from the hundreds of kids that are here in this tiny space. The flow of the lobby and valet was very difficult to navigate. It felt like it was understaffed for as many people as we're here. The food was very good, we ate at salt two nights, and it was delicious. The rooms were very, very basic and need a major redo. We have stayed at several Ritz Carlton hotels and this one is definitely in dire need of some upgrades. That being said we loved the island and downtown Fernandina Beach! The beach was really lovely as it was not overcrowded.

Everything was fantastic. Not up to my Ritz's standards; however, there was ups and downs. We had more than 10 spa treatments so most of our time was spent there which was the best spa I have every been too! 100% recommended! Salt: best service and food ever! A wonderful experience! They left us a SALT gift from staff the next day at the spa! A lot of room service even though we had club lounge access...I just dont think it is worth it unless you have kids! Club Beach was wonderful...get there early. They have Sweetwater 420! The probyome Vichy shower and massage was the best 2.5 hour for both of us was decadence! Spicy margaritas and smoked old fashioned was top notch! We will be back.
