Second time here and even more in love. Even if the classic Hollywood allure isn't your bag, the value for the room rate is incredible considering the location, the property features, the comfort and style of the rooms, and how well everyone on staff treats guests. Our room was so perfect it was tough to leave it, but there are so many amazing things to do and see (in Los Angeles overall, of course, but also right there at the Roosevelt)! The time before this most recent visit, I didn't get to the pool, but I won't make that mistake again. This time we spent our Sunday afternoon there, and what a vibe. Iconic, of course, but also super fun, with excellent cocktails (with and without alcohol!) and snacks. Even if you aren't up for a swim, it's a prime spot to enjoy a cozy private conversation, chat with a neighbor, or just people watch. The lobby is also a great place to get a drink or just take a little break. I am prone to feeling like I don't belong somewhere (especially somewhere this glamorous), and maybe a little too attuned to eye-roll energy, but everything about this place is easy and welcoming and chill. It's very L.A. in the best way.

This hotel easily deserves 10+ stars. Everything about our stay went above and beyond expectations. The staff treats you like family, the front desk greets you like a regular, and the ubiquitous, polite security team makes you feel incredibly safe. The Shirley Brasserie offers fantastic food and drinks, and the fabulous pool area is fully staffed and highly attentive. Located right in the heart of Hollywood, the hotel feels like a living museum of Art Deco elegance. Highly recommended!

Although it is located on Hollywood Boulevard, which is always crowded with tourists, the inside of the hotel has a completely different atmosphere from the outside, and has a charming historic atmosphere that would have made Marilyn Monroe fall in love. Perhaps the biggest advantage that sets this hotel apart from other hotels is the ability to escape the hectic pace of everyday life and enjoy the leisurely atmosphere of a resort right in the city. Of course, the in-room dining experience is also a bonus, offering a relaxed dining experience with the ambiance of a fancy restaurant.
