Clients are exploring country club membership options, and this one definitely made the list! Austin was a fantastic host, the lunch was outstanding, and the experience gave my clients a great look at what this club has to offer. They may have found the perfect place that truly fits their lifestyle and needs! Thank you, Austin, for making us feel welcomed and providing such a memorable visit.

If you’re thinking of becoming a Hills member - don’t. The staff is very good. That’s important. The restaurant is also very good. The Hills course is in reasonably good condition about half the time. It’s always something though. The fairways are suffering because the irrigation broke again, the greens are covered in poa or dead spots, the aprons are mostly weeds, the tee boxes are dead. It’s usually two or three of these at once. Honestly though, these parts are tolerable to an extent. The real problem is that you can’t even use the product you’re paying for. If you want to play on the weekend before 2pm, you’re out of luck. The way they have it set up, you can only play your home course that you pay $1k per month if you get lucky. If you log on at 7am on the first day times are available, they’re all already gone.

Worst experience Ever. I am not a member and was hoping to hold my baby shower at the McKinney location. The shower needed to get rescheduled by Jeane Snavely, event sales director due to the freeze early this year. Upon rescheduling the shower didn’t happen since my baby came early and did not need the shower anymore. When I mentioned cancelling it, I was asked to pay 90% of the cost about $3,000 without having a baby shower. When I contested it, Jeane was very rude, aggressive and dismissive. She didn’t care that I was recovering from surgery or had to deal with other medical bills, she sent me to SRS collections who were also rude and disrespectful. I had to deal with this experience right after giving birth while I was not even able to walk. Their mistreatment is unspeakable. I looked at all the reviews and majority of all 4-5 stars are all bots. I wish I new earlier. Please do not waste your time and money as they are only interested in profits and do not treat customers right!

If you are looking for an event space in McKinney with 5 Star service, this is your place! We had a 50th Anniversary party here and it turned out amazing. I could not have asked for a better team to work with. The food was all on point and on time. The bartenders and service team were at the top of their game. Great job Sarah and team! Thanks so much for making my job easy!

Long time member here - the members are fed up and no longer sitting silently. The course is overcharging their membership for one of the worst maintained courses in all of DFW. The membership (Hills course only) with a cart plan is just under $1,000 per month. Keep in mind this is BEFORE you buy an $8 beer (after they add in your service fees etc) or a $30 dinner that will come out late and probably cold (and definitely incorrect). What was once the best club in Collin county because of the great community and fun golf course has now become the very example of club corps/inviteds greed and lack of caring about their members. This place is an absolute disaster and I would encourage anyone considering joining to go elsewhere…and for the members still standing…now is the time to jump ship. THEY DONT CARE! The rates keep going up and the quality keeps plummeting.
