Exceptional, friendly service from everyone, especially Jake. Putting/chipping/bunker practice area are really nice and the range/course seem nice too. The restaurant is also 5/5 with great service and the sandwich/mashed potatoes were well-priced ($8 without tax/tip) and delicious.

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Texas Star Golf Course is easily one of the nicest public courses I've played. The course was absolutely immaculate from tee to green. The fairways were in outstanding condition, and the greens were some of the best I've putted on in a long time. The layout is well thought out, with plenty of bathrooms and water stations throughout the course, which is a huge plus during a Texas summer. The practice facilities are excellent and conveniently located next to the first tee, and there's also a great snack and drink station by the starter area. We only saw the beverage cart once, but with an early morning tee time, that's understandable. A special shoutout to Rick, who went above and beyond to explain the course, answer questions, and make sure everything ran smoothly. His customer service really set the tone for a great day. The only thing keeping the experience from being absolutely perfect was that the welcome in the pro shop wasn't as warm as I'd expect from a facility of this caliber. This was my first time golfing and I had so much fun. The course was very well kept. There was adequate signage. The staff were very polite and helpful. That was very much appreciated as a first timer. Overly I highly recommend this course although some of the holes were a bit difficult.

A rare 5 star review for me. For a few reasons. The course was in good condition, recovering from aeration but so are all the good courses in DFW right now. It’ll help in July/August. But the layout is awesome, facilities (range, putting green, chipping green) we’re in good condition, and the restaurant on site was really great! My 5 star goes to the fact that they allowed me to use the locker room to shower and change before a flight out. I appreciate the flexibility and great customer service. If I lived nearby, I’d definitely play here more often! Locals, play here!
