My kids who are beginning level love this style of playing. Meaning they are learning and for the most part the coaches, playing all seem to be here to enjoy the sport. I would like to see the parents realize this, maybe enroll into a competitive league

SYSA has historically provided a much needed service for many of our youth. Both of my teenagers joined as pip squeaks and my grandchildren followed suit. It’s become a positive family event. Rec games are held at a field within driving distance. Though we have amazing coaches, there is a BIG shortage of coaches for our youth. PLEASE VOLUNTEER😉

A month ago we asked if my son and his cousin were going to be able to play on the same team based on their age, they told us they would so we payed for the season.($120) one week before season starts we get a text message saying they are two completely separate teams. So I asked if I can just get a refund, she told me no and that she could send me a form saying I donated the money for my taxes. Horrible effing experience. Never joining this league again.

This is a poorly ran organization that doesn’t ensure there are adequate coaches. This is a constant pattern…no support for the younger teams. Definitely recommend YMCA.
