I had a great experience at Sports Basement thanks to Alex. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help us. He took the time to properly size my daughter's soccer shoes, answered all of our questions about the equipment she needed, and made sure we found the right fit. Alex was patient, professional, and never made us feel rushed. His customer service really stood out and made the entire shopping experience easy and enjoyable. Employees like Alex are a big reason we'll continue shopping at Sports Basement. Thank you for the outstanding service!

I recently went here as I was looking for a new pair of Hoka boots. I needed them like yesterday due to hurt foot. I called ahead a spoke to a gentleman and he answered my questions in a professional, compassionate way, when I told him I was injured. I arrived and was assisted by Zeke. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Better then that he was personable and very helpful. I spoke to the female cashier who was also vet nice and accommodating. I didn't have time to shop but what i saw showed a great selection. If other staff is as good as the 2 I met, this business will go through the roof. I look forward to going back.

Love love this place! All the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I had a great experience in shoes with Andrew. He's actually helped me several times and he's helpful and really knows his stuff. Natalie topped off my trip at checkout. I've always had a great experience when shopping here!

Often visit this shop with my friends, their discounts are always very attractive. Chris in the snowboarding section is friendly and knowledgeable. He patiently helps me try on gear and answers all my questions every time. I recently purchased new bindings and will be back next week to see if they have something good for my kid as well. Highly recommended!

Traveled to LGB with my bike and arrived to the hotel only to find out one of the carbon fiber spokes on my wheel got damage during the flight. Reached out to the folks at Sports Basement and while the little time in town didn't allow for a permanent solution with my wheel, John & Alex provided me with an immediate solution to make sure I made the most of my time in Long Beach and was able to ride my bike while in town. A rear wheel rental with the adequate cassette and gearing ratio to match my bike got me on the road the very same day. Can't stress enough how much above and beyond these guys went to be able to help me. Excellent customer service and care

Stopped by to see if they have any I would like to have for my snow trip this weekend. It’s a huge store and has been here for decades and this is my first time visiting this place. They have everything you could think of. Well payout and spacious and height . Friendly & helpful customer services. They have all 4 seasons gears and sports equipments. It’s a mini mall size from my POV. Cause it keeps going and going. Definitely will comeback to get more equipments since it’s nearby and my kid needs some basketball & baseball gears for sure. Plus the values here is not bad at all comparing to the sport good places or had to wait for shipping when purchased online.

Today when I came to the store, I was warmly welcome by Chris and everyone else. He helped me with sizing my boots and choose me a perfectly comfortable pairs. With his expertise, Chris also suggested us snowboards according to our needs. He treated me with such care as if I am his family. The experience is so wonderful that I’m fully devoted to this location. I really appreciate his help and the experience I have with Sport Basement Long Beach. Thank you, would definitely come back everytime! 🤩

Love it! Found a gem while shopping their loved section. Loved the way the store focuses on sustainability by offering gently used, returned, or donated gear and clothing. The propane program! Rent gear for a day or a month. Space to play Pickleball, and pool for free. Great community space.
