Great place! We came here with a friend to play padel and really enjoyed it. The area is very clean, surrounded by trees, and has a nice relaxing atmosphere. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

I stopped in on a weekday morning to play indoor pickleball and check out the courts. The staff at the front was easy to deal with and helped point me in the right direction without making it complicated. The indoor space was clean, air conditioned, and set up well for getting a few games in away from the heat. The courts are usable and organized, though a couple areas look like they could use some maintenance. I liked that the play seemed naturally split between newer players and more experienced players, which made it easier to find a decent match. Booking ahead online is helpful because the popular times seem to fill up quickly. Parking was simple in the lot, and the whole visit was pretty straightforward from start to finish. I would use it again, especially if they added more evening options for beginners and indoor play.

I stopped by the South Austin Recreation Center for some pickleball and found the atmosphere quite inviting. The staff was attentive right from the start—one employee took the time to explain how to reserve a court online, which I appreciated since it made the process straightforward. I noticed that they had separate areas for beginners and more advanced players, which helped create a comfortable environment without any pressure. The courts were air-conditioned, making it pleasant to play even with the heat outside. During my visit, I also had a chance to chat with other players who shared tips and welcomed me into their games. It felt like a community where everyone could enjoy themselves, regardless of skill level. While there could be more evening slots available for casual play, my experience was quite positive overall.

I love playing pickleball here! It's a friendly crowd, and the employees are helpful when you need help. It's a good location. It is also where I vote---which is always well organized with volunteers who know what they're doing and are super helpful. Parking is easy either in the lot or on the street. If there were more evening time slots to play indoor pickleball , that would be terrific. It's a good experience going to SARC!

Four indoor courts, air conditioned. Good place to play pickleball and escape the heat. 2 courts good competition players. 2 courts beginner-ish players. Lots of fun. No drama.
