Great park it's pretty well shaded and has a community pool and library next to it which is an amazing added bonus!

I really love this park and the public tennis courts — it’s a great place to play and spend time outdoors. The only thing that could be improved is having a sign-in sheet or a system to track when people arrive and when they leave. A lot of players stay on the courts longer than the one-hour limit, which makes it frustrating for others who are waiting for their turn. A simple check-in/check-out system could make it more fair and enjoyable for everyone. Street parking is available

This park has changed so much! It's so nice and new. I used to come here when I was a kid, and now I can bring my kids.

A solid 4 star experience at Shenandoah Park with plenty to enjoy for families, fitness lovers, and anyone looking to spend time outdoors. The park really stands out for its wide variety of amenities, including a modern playground, tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields, basketball courts, and even an aquatic center. There’s also a library and recreational center on-site, which adds extra value and makes it more than just your typical neighborhood park. The space is generally clean, well maintained, and full of life, especially in the afternoons and weekends. It’s great to see kids playing, families gathering, and people staying active. The shaded areas and open green spaces make it comfortable to relax or have a picnic. That said, parking can be a bit limited during busy times, and some areas like the soccer fields can be hard to access due to scheduled activities or school use. A few visitors have also mentioned occasional issues with rule enforcement and crowding. Despite those minor drawbacks, the park offers a welcoming atmosphere and something for all ages. This park is a great place for all ages and groups of families. The park has a library branch that offers a variety of activities like tutoring, storytelling on Saturday, yoga classes, and more. The pool is heated, closes at 9pm.
