**A Fair and Transparent Tryout Process** REBEL BASKETBALL I want to respectfully share my concern about the Rebels 3rd Grade basketball tryouts. From the beginning, parents should be clearly informed about how many players the team needs and how many spots are actually available. If the roster is already nearly complete or there are already players lined up, parents should be told immediately. This would prevent families from spending their time, money, and energy on a tryout when there are very limited spots available. What is especially confusing is that some kids who did not attend the tryout, or did not fully participate in the tryout, appear to have been selected for the 3rd Grade lineup. Meanwhile, many kids who showed up, worked hard, and gave their best effort during the tryout were not selected. This creates the impression that the selection process may be based on connections or favoritism rather than performance, effort, and determination. I am not asking for my child or anyone else to be given a spot. I am simply asking for a **fair, honest, and transparent process**. Great location. Parking, outdoor eating area, and terrific band! Good spacing for outdoor exhibits. Inside had good traffic. Far back tables unfortunately didn't get as many visits for some reason. Awkward setup for getting food in the front. Traffic and shopping was perfect, enough room. Maybe bigger signs for those special donation tables. Fun event. Lots of participation!

Went here for the Just Between Friends Consignment Sale with the family and was very impressed with the facilities! Large areas for athletic events and activities with very clean restrooms available. Has an excellent snack bar available as well with plenty of affordable options. Plenty of parking available as well. This is definitely a great gem for the city of Elk Grove!

A wide variety of events are booked here. The staff in the kitchen are an excellent team! I've seen crab feeds for organizations, social events for basketball leagues and rotary club fundraisers.
