Rooms could have been cleaner. Slight irritation - as we were leaving the door closed behind me before I could grab a bag I left on the counter. Checkout time was noon and the doorkey was automatically disabled, which was fine and appropriate. The hassle came when I asked housekeeping to let me in to grab my property, I told them they could stand there while I took two steps back inside to retrieve the item. Five minutes later after trying to contact the front desk, they refused to satisfy my request. I will let Bonvoy know as well. Simple exceptions are easy to make if you value your cutomers' experiences.

The hotel is in a good location, central to the Google campus and other venues. It's under renovation, so I couldn't use most of the facilities. Regardless, the rooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is a great place for working travelers. The food options on Castro street are great, and within walking distance.

This hotel features that classic layout you see a lot around here—low-rise buildings wrapped around a massive parking lot. While the facilities and the rooms themselves are definitely on the dated side, the rooms are incredibly spacious! It honestly felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, complete with a full-sized kitchen and a walk-in closet. One thing to note: I stayed in a ground-floor room, and opening the curtains meant looking straight out into the parking lot. So, while the area itself is nice and quiet, it did leave me with some privacy concerns. You might want to ask for a room on a higher floor!
