Upsides. They have plenty of equipment and more than ample bench presses and squat racks. The downsides is the gym is way to small for the size of the school. It's always overly crowded at most times of the day and hard to get a full workout it. I would recommend considering another gym. Even as a now, alumni, the membership fee is way to high for the lack of space to workout in.

I really wanna love this gym but here are the downsides I can’t get over that overshadow any positives for me: The sanitizing wipes smell like sour vomit and make the building smell worse than it would without them. There is very little air circulation. I’m not sure what’s going on with the A/C or fans but the air is stale and musty because of it as well as being hot and muggy in most spaces. It gets super crowded during after-work hours and on the weekends. It just doesn’t make you feel like it’s part of an internationally renowned public university. More like a neglected community college space.

Some of the machines are a little rundown/broken, but overall this place is great! Yes, it can get packed, but you just have to deal with it and keep going. Generally, you can get all the workouts you need to get done right there, and they've got a pool and a track nearby for your cardio work (the pool is very good for sure; haven't tried out the track). I know they also do offer fitness classes. It's a shame I haven't tried those yet; I know for a fact that some of them would benefit me a lot. I don't think they have any personal trainers, or if they do, I haven't seen any. Also, people here are generally very nice and helpful! I'm a runner, so I don't go here much, but I've made friends with many of the regular gymgoers here. I've had situations where I needed some help with my form or I struggled with bench press, and someone was always there to show me how to do things right. I'm going to miss this place when I'm done.

The building itself is pretty nice. Big facility, but could allocate much more space to weight rooms. They weight rooms they have are way too small for the amount of people it caters to, creating crammed conditions and long line for machines. The lines into the weight room can extend very far, making it hard to get in a workout if you prefer to lift weights. Would be a much better experience if there were at least one more room added with more general equipment (benched, dumbells, squat racks) rather than specific machines.

Good pickup, my first game here a kid tried to fight our team. 10/10, very competitive. Gym is ok.
